I lived in a trailer for about 3 months last summer for work, my wife, baby and myself. Honestly if your planning on spending more than two nights with a family your going to want something around 24-26' at least. This range is easily towable with a half ton.
I have the Milwaukee, it's honestly a game changer for me at work. All the attachments fit inside the lid in their own spots. Don't have to worry about all the pieces falling off everywhere.
I only have a diesel as I needed a dually to legally haul the load and it was the company's decision since I haul in the mountains.
It's like people shooting gophers with a 338 lapua.
Buy a gas job. I used to haul a 20k trailer with a gas job one ton and it did the job fine. My new truck is a diesel but I honestly would rather have a gas job. People go wayyyy overboard for towing small things.
If you ever feel lonely and need to chat with someone I am always available on PM's if you want OP. I know what it Is like to move around constantly and not know people in your area.
Definitely alot harder when you break up with someone and your not from the area.
I tow a 28’ with a weight distribution hitch on my f150. Tows great and no problems stopping or stability. I live near the Rockies and constantly have to tow hills/mountains as well as 40-60 mph cross winds. Honestly wouldn’t buy a bigger truck for such a small load.
I would definitely not recommend a 04-08 5.4 3v unless you like tearing apart half the engine bay to replace the stupid cam phasers. After that you can enjoy the wonders of the two part spark plug or the exhaust manifold that warp if you look at them wrong.
Looking to go to Greece with my wife and baby in September sometime for two weeks.
What are all the sites to see?
Going to go to the Parthenon, Delphi, maybe the monasteries.
Probably stay the first 5 days in a resort then hotel/hostel the rest.
Get a real estate lawyer. He will handle all the paperwork and land titles. They usually cost a small fee like 800 bucks. Definitely worth it.
My last house I sold and had a real estate lawyer. All I had to do was find a buyer and negotiate rice. Rest was up to him, he even deposits the money...
Are you in college? Honestly trades are the way to go right now. Find a local union and do an apprenticeship. It’s pretty easy to be 80k+ in a grade nowadays.
