All that is done by the shops who charge for it is some material removal in the compressed air side right? I've seen the pictures, doesnt look that hard..
is there any reason i shouldnt try it?
I scuffed a piston & am doing a bottom end rebuild, I'm going to reuse my rods and most likely the bearings etc.. it was pretty minor damage, but enough to make a slight tick so i took a look 'n found some uglyness

I ran some 90 octane with a chip tuned for 92, detonated & blew 3 plugs up (all on the right half of the engine) on the way to the track..
switched the plugs out for new ones, plut 4 gallons of 104 into a 1/4 tank of 90 oct & ran down the track a few times (got real crappy times out of it)...
finaly went for the pully, after listening to broke7 repeatedly tell me "no one cares how fast you run on a stock pully, they wont remeber you for high 11's or low 12's"
I finaly tossed on a pully and chip, had a good day at the track
pulled a 1.69, 1.66 and a 1.63 60 fts (but couldnt find...
I've heard yes a lot, but ive given it to two different shops and they say that tire size wont fit on these rims
i even tryed to help on one, the first bead went on fine, but the 2nd one wouldnt fit in, we even stood on the tires to try and get the bead to go in
is there a trick to this...
the MPH is there for 11's
but the 60ft isnt, anyone have an idea of whats going on? I'd really like to tap 11's with as little mods as posible
