All fr500c / shelby / gt heads were oval intake port. No notch like your picture. But the gt on the side is correct for those heads. Your intake port picture resembles a tumble port head.

Those are not shelby or fr500c or 04 05 gt heads. Those are tumble port cobra/ aviator heads . Some cam caps are gt fr caps.

Jdm engineering bought roush out of all his Daytona prototype 5.4 parts.
I have set cobra dohc covers .coil on plug. They need work just refinishing. No cracks or ovaled holes. Someone started stripping them. Don't have pic can text or email.
Also have set of nos crinkle blue covers

these were from roush dp program they tried a high rev motor build. 13.1 + comp ratio. 1 head I was told 1000 hrs work done to it.how true?? But from person who worked on them. They didn't last long at 10k rpm and 13+ compression.
Roush intake is a nice piece for sure most complete 1 I have seen. You do know will not fit 4.6 block, deck heights are different from 5.4 it was used on. And they were mounted reversed facing rear of motor. Not sure if they can be reversed or if they made 1 that faces to front of motor. JDM in...

what more important. The heads or intake ? Seriously. I have 2 sets of fr500c heads. 1 set nos with ford racing ss valves shelby springs nos titanium retainers ect or used complete w/ cams lifters followers off fr500c motor. Have fr500c valve covers to.also have carbon fiber covers.
