I talked to the main guy i was dealing with at the dealership again this morning. I told him where i wanted to be with payments and financing ( i have absolute zero credit history, and I am a part time college student ) but we're working finding a solution right now.
He had a sad chuckle this...
Well based on what the manager there was telling me, he's playing across two markets because of it being at a dealership where you would not expect to see one. Pretty sure i've got them wrapped around my finger now seeing how it's "broken." I also have the irrelevant to market blue book value...
So a dealership about two hours from me has an 03 Redfire Cobra, 37k miles, 2 owners (father and son), clean carfax no accidents, and 100% bone stock.
Took my 97 Cobra (65k miles pacific green, mint condition, barely modded) down to look at doing a trade in. Left the dealership on a test drive...
Losing compression on one cylinder. Truck has 115k miles.
What all should i do during the rebuild?
A friend is asking me to do the work, just want info on what all i should make sure he gets done....
1997 Mustang Cobra
The car is pacific green and truly a mint piece.
has 67k and is almost bone stock.
Currently on the car is a JLT true cold air intake, bbk catless x-pipe, pypes m-80 cat back, and a bama tune for the intake.
Car is lowered with sr performance springs and sits on true 03 Tenth...
So im looking at buying a set of headers, just need to know what all is needed for the install.
I will have a tune for them.
I know i will need:
EL HEADERS
shorty mid pipe
02 extenders
More so curious about all the egr bs, what would it take to just delete it
Just read through this entire thread and then got to the end to find out that i now have someone to look for at mustang week!
Keep an eye out for a Pacific Green 97' Cobra on Tenth Anny's
