Guys,
Due to an earlier than expected need to relocate, I have to get rid of this car fast. Would love to sell it properly, but just don't have the time. Selling for what the market will bring. This could be a steal for someone.
Check it out here...
ebay'ed.
EDIT: relisted with NO RESERVE and a cheap buy it now. Check out the auction here:

Thanks!
i am looking at a pair of 15x8 prostars with 26x11.5 et streets. owner claims they have 4" of backspacing. question: will these look retarded? i've always heard to go with at least 5.5" of backspacing at least on these cars.
and if anyone has pics of 15x8's on cobras could you post them...
A few days ago, I was pulled over in my Tahoe around 1am in by Scottsdale PD for my license plate light being out. I was given a big ticket for a registration issue (a long story which will end in court). When I got home that night, I saw that one of the two license plate lights was working...
K, I know I pulled the idiot card on this one, but hear me out.
While on vacation in Orange County, I overdrafted pretty bad on my checking account, enough to cause 8 overdraft fees totaling $264. The actual amount overdrawn was only like $35, since all the transactions were lunch or coffee...
so i've decided to bite the bullet and rebuild my stock longblock myself. i'll have about a month this summer where there will be garage space, people to help me out, and time for me to do this. forgive the long post which i'm sure will develop but i have a number of questions...btw, this combo...
Best Offer: Wheels / tires from '97 cobra + Nitto drag radial's...BAY AREA, CA
Selling the stock set of wheels and tires off my '97 cobra. The wheels are cosmetically and mechanically PERFECT (no curb rash) but DO NOT have centercaps. Tires are BFG Comp T/A 245's and have lots of tread left but...
finally got a chance to drive my friends blown '96 cobra. the car is abolutely pristine for its miles and having run boost most of its life. pulls just like mine.
however, when i was driving it, i ground the hell out of second gear when clicking off a shift around redline...things winds up so...
Let's see, I'll try to make this as specific as possible.
I'm contemplating having my Cobra's motor rebuilt w/ stonger pistons and rods when I go back to school in mid-January (car will just be sitting at home anyway). So, say if I supplied the pistons, rings, rods, misc. parts, etc., how...
Well look at this beauty.

The car developed this problem in August while it was being tuned. I have since replaced coil packs and plugs (tr6's gapped at .34) and taken it back for a retune with no luck. It still feels like the damn thing hits a wall around 6k. The graph shows...
Can this be done? I've been looking at powerpipe but don't want to lose my STB. Are there any aftermarket braces that would accomodate a powerpipe and still allow my stock hood to close?
well after finally securing a good, covered parking spot, i am bringing my car to school. yay!
a big issue i need to tackle before driving it here is the brakes. for about 2 weeks before i left i had an off and on squealing of the front brakes. sometimes they'd squeel when i wasnt even...
Well i finished my battery relocation today. What a bitch that was. between the battery box and h-clamp being the wrong size :cuss: (screw you summit), ****ing up my back when routing the positive cable, and IMMENSE trouble lowering and raising a near-full gas tank for the box bolts, i had a...
how would one go about siphoning or draining gas from the gas tank? i dropped my tank a few inches to do bolts for a battery relocation (it's nearly full) and am having a hell of a time getting it back up. i have a siphon but when i stick the siphon hose down the gas fill it gets blocked and...
well, in the ongoing surgery to my cobra before i get it tuned, i'm going to be installing 42lb'ers tonight. my main question is will i need to replace the upper intake gasket? i've heard both yes and no. all in all it seems like a pretty straightforward unbolt-and-put-back-together kind of job...
