Sometimes when I start up the motor idles at about 500rpm. If i rev it up a couple of times the idle goes back up to where it should be. Anyone know what it could be?

I have an SCT tuner with the extreme tune software. Should I trust someone to send me a tune file and I load it into my truck? I have an OTC tune from LFP right now but I think it is a bit too conservative. What do you guys think?

Does the Lightning come factory with 4 cats, and if so will I get a check engine light or have to re-tune if I go with 2 aftermarkets, an x-pipe, and some new mufflers? :shrug:

In certain cities there are ordinances against loud exhaust. How does an officer determine that the vehicle is too loud,and can he/she write a ticket if the exhaust system is "street legal"?

How difficult is it to remove and clean the s/c and intercooler? Do I need to remove the rotors from the case? What do I need to look out for? The truck has 96k miles on it and I'm sure it needs cleaning.

What is this mod? What does it do? And if it really works, where do I get it?
