I like it, a kind of throw back feel with an update.
I'm fairly certain I've seen them before when I was stationed in Atsugi. The name rings a bell. The other band that sticks out from that time at the enlisted club is better than Ezra.
Day after Christmas 2004. A bunch of us were in a sports bar in Hong Kong drinking and the news came on. We just looked around at each other and knew where we were headed.
We didn't mess with the bodies. I do remember seeing body bags just lined along the streets though. Many of them were in the water and we didn't get there until about a week after the tsunami hit. You couldn't begin to count how many there were in the water.

The after math of the tsunami in Indonesia was unreal. We saw video of it as we were cruising there for relief operations but that first flight inland seeing it first hand will never be erased.
A rescue of a lifetime that's for sure.
One of my senior crewman when I was young swimmer had his lifetime rescue during the fire on the USS Bonefish. I think it was 21 rescued over a continuous 3 hour period. He ended up in the hospital for over a week and was temporarily blinded from all the...
