Has anyone seen the new MM&FF (April)?
I hear that they are going to have a feature on our car, but it is not at our newstand yet.
I wonder how many pages they gave us?
I am looking for a good wheel and tire combo that will be suitable for 10.5 drag radial competition.
I starting to check into tire and wheel combos, and the choices seem endless.
I was hoping to run a BFG 275/40 R17 on a 17x10" rim in the rear and a "smaller" wheel and tire combo in the...
I need to relocate the idle valve (currently located on the top of the blower inlet casting, right behind the throttle body) to a remote location.
Has anyone done this before?
Any recommendations?
We took the SN65 to Speed Inc (Schaumburg, IL) to tune the beast up after the Whipple install. The install itself went pretty well. We did struggle a bit with the EGR valve plumbing and the correct torque for the manifold bolts, but we did have everything ready for the Tuesday evening session...
Hi All,
That's right!!! The SN65 made the cover....
"Gonzo '65 Mustang on an '03 Chassis"
Granted, it is the upper right hand corner. And the picture is barely large enough to see me in the passenger seat, but it is the cover.
Look for the August issue for the full 9 page spread...
On thursday we are upgrading the SN65 from the stock Eaton blower to a whipple.
We are going to be running 15 Lbs of boost (to start). :-)
I have a Pro-M MAFS on the way (calabrated to our intake, and 60 lb injectors).
I have a Accufab mono blade TB on the way.
I have the Whipple...
We do. A whipple twin screw is on it's way. Once installed, we will dial it in at about 550 RWHP and let the good times roll.
This, along with a couple of other upgrades, should all be complete, locked and loaded in time for the Columbus Good Guys Show.
Woo Hoo!!!!
Hi All,
Sat May 27th we will have an open house to view (and ride in) the SN65.
Sorry that it has taken so long for us to schedule the event, but things have just been nuts lately.
Look forward to seeing you the 27th.
Well….
We just returned from the World Ford Challenge.
What a show. We were parked right at the 1/4 mile finish line. Being within 50 feet of these cars as they went past (some at well over 200 MPH) was just insane. Sometimes, when the shoots deployed, they would POP so loud that you...
Wayne is on his way back from the Year One Experiance. He would have been quite a bit farther along except for the fact that he toasted an outer wheel bearing on the dully.
Anyway...
The SN65 took first in our catagory and also placed second for best in show. Which is all fine and good...
Here is a link to a video I made of the SN65 at the Autobahn race track. I hope you have broadband if you try to download, it is about 100 meg. :-)

With the SN65 project winding down, we have been kicking around ideas for our next creation. It is called the FF-550 GTC project. And it stands for "Ford/Ferrari - 550 Grand Tourismo Coupe"
Here is a link to the data sheet of the new project.

Yesterday, we had the SN65 out at Finish Line Performance (Naperville, IL) for a dyno session. We made 7 runs, made a few adjustments and ended up with a max rear wheel power of 402.4 and a max rear wheel torque of 396.4. This is an increase of about 40/40 over the original factory numbers...
Hi All,
Have you seen the SN65 thread.
Until recently, the thread has been in the terminator forum. Recently, the thread has been moved to the "Pics and video buffet" section and many have said they had not heard of the project prior to it showed up on that forum.
So I was...
