I also wanted to add that I already did the simple things, cleaned the MAF and the IAC. I can't locate any vacuum leaks.
Also, I can hear ticking sound out of the exhaust, but I don't hear it at the engine bay.
Hopefully you guys can give me some direction and advice.
I drove the car a few days ago in the morning, and everything seemed fine. Later that day, almost as soon as the car starts, there was a change in the way it sounded. I cant describe it other than some sort of misfire, missing a...
So, a friend and I attempted to install this kit and it just ended in frustration! I had the holes for the bracket marked and punched. Put the drill bit to the mark, and started drilling. That bumper steel is TOUGH! Tried every bit i have, black oxide, titanium, and cobalt. Tried carbide tipped...
Like i said....the tube from the valve has already been removed when the longtubes were installed. I'd rather not have to buy the tube and reinstall something that is not necessarily needed.
I just had the Maximum Motorsports kmember installed. One thing i looked over was the oil filter. You will need to relocate the oil filter...it does say it in their website, it was my fault for not seeing it. So check if other K members require you to do the same.
I ordered the SCT/bama tuner....just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I will definitely have it turned off.
As far as removing all the components, what do I remove and what to I do with the lines that are bundled with other things?
Can I just leave the valve in there for now? By leaving the valve in place, is it "opening" by any means since the vacuum line is still connected to it right now.
Hey guys! So i just got the car back from the shop after getting all the front suspension upgraded, clutch replaced, 03/04 tank and pumps, and Mac longtubes and Xpipe installed.
The shop (Thunder Autosports in Boynton Beach, Fl) told me the tube from the EGR to the header was removed. He said...
I actually didn't end up buying it. Someone else on the forum did.
However, I scored an 03/04 tank with stock pumps for $185.
I dropped off my car at Thunder Autosports in Boynton Beach, Fl. It's been a week now. I'm having them install the 03/04 tank, bunch of MM suspension stuff in the...
I apologize ahead for the noob questions...i'm not very familiar with fuel systems and options.
- So as is, it is set up for returnless correct?
- There seems to be a missing allen on the plate where the wires go, is that how it should be?
- Will i need a second FPDM to control the second pump...
Hey guys, so in my other thread, i am interested in buying an 03/0 tank because of the sump in it. I am not sure if the pump in it is still working or not, so I am thinking ahead of researching what would be best to do if the pumps were not working.
The car is basically a stock 01 cobra with...
After rereading OLD posts, i see that the 01 pumps will not fit in the 03/04 tank because the 99/01 pumps have a housing that clicks into place whereas the 03/04 pumps are suspended from the hat....
so i guess my only concern is if you guys think it's a 03/04 cobra tank from the pics?
