The big fella seems to have finally quit growing and filling out around 4 years old at 180ish.
The little guy we are fostering but my daughter has pretty well decided he’s never leaving so looks like he’ll end up being our new addition.
No clue what he is or how big he will get but he’s got...
Funny….that is my exact opposite experience. I could never make a clean pass with my hellcat (either too much or too little every time, just never could find the sweet spot) but have none of the same problems with my 3.09 Redeye (even modded).
OP. Lot of good info in here. They are fun cars. I...
Hell my ex wife tried to eat me alive when we divorced. Joke was on her though because while she was running around all over the country sleeping with her co-worker and thinking I had no clue I was busy playing dumb, making plans and getting everything in order.
Walked out of that marriage...

A few years used Jeep grand Cherokee with the V6 and 8speed can be had used on the cheap and gets incredible gas mileage.
My ex father in law had one and that thing would get 600-650 miles out of a tank.

In my mid twenties I lost it all financially (over extended on developing large land tracts with some bad partners who shafted me). I picked myself up off the floor, started back from zero and rebuilt to where I wanted to be.
Late 30’s found out my wife was having an affair with her co-worker...
Haha. I remember that guy flat out telling me my 19 Redeye didn’t do what I watched it do while sitting in the drivers seat.....
Gotta love those “experts”.

100% agree with this review.
When I was daily driving my hellcat it was so perfect for that task (I’ve got 2 small children) that I bought a redeye without even test driving it when the time came to replace it. Spot on about it being a phenomenal GT car.
Now that I’ve picked up a crew cab...
Just a thought:
You’ve got the whole front engine, V8, forced induction brute covered with your current GT500.
As a change of pace and if a C7 ZR1 is in your budget/radar....
Why not wait a little and see exactly what the C8 Z06 is going to offer and at what price point.
Will likely be...
If true that's pretty disappointing to see.....
Back when I had my 11 GT500 they were absolutely top notch to deal with when I had them pulley and tune it initially and then went back down a few years later to have them dial in the tune when I installed a Gen2 TVS...
So I just recently tried this stuff on my ski......I’m never going back to a traditional wax....went on much easier, and has held up way better IMO.
And much, much, much better vs water spotting. Shine is incredible too.

Well
I wouldn't even waste my time on the factory rubber. I know better. :) At that point it would be purely a toy and proper tires would live on it full time....
cliff notes.....I either got some bad gas or had something very flukey happen as I melted the ground straps on numbers 4, 6 & 8...
I'm thinking about having demon performance build me a 426 pump gas stroker for my redeye. Would be around that at the wheels on the mild 93 tune and north of 1100rw on a still mild race tune...
Just have to find some free time to knock off a bank or two.....
