Keep the factory fill for the first 1,000-1,500 miles, then change it over to Amsoil AZF 0W-40. Change Amsoil once a year, or 15,000 miles....whichever occur first. Closely monitoring oil levels monthly.

Motorcraft 5W-50 rapidly shears to a 40 grade lubricant in a short amount of time. My suggestion is Amsoil 0W-40 AZF. It was formulated for the GTR and Hellcat, but would serve your 2.3L Ecoboost very well. If you were HPDE this car, I would suggest 5W-50. However, for daily driving......0W-40 is perfect, and will flow better in the winter.
