Installed it last night and drove it to work this morning. Finding gears is much easier and the reach to third is great:banana:. Downfall right now is, that she is mighty stiff and notchy right now. I actually think my arm is tired. I'm sure she'll losen up in time.
Going to put on my boost overlay, but I'm off to a bad start. Any ideas how to get the headlight switch knob off. I just can't seem to get it to come off.
I got my new rubber installed (315-35-17's) along with 1" spacers. And since I had the tires off i also took the time to do the wheel mod, pic doesn't do it justice. I'm fighting the sun with my camera, gonna try to get some better ones at sunset.
before,
after,
I ordered some 1" spacers from Lethal, they are on national back log with no eta for new ones. So had to cancel that order. Man I am bummed out:cryying::cryying:, just ordered new rubber and wanted the spacers to go with it. Also checked with MM and they said the same.
I noticed today that I have completely used up my tires (i won't drive it right now, she's bad). I have stk chrome rims and it is mostly DD, she'll never will see the track. So my plan is to buy Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance 275/40-17's for the front. And for the rear is where I need help...
OK, so I plan on stripping the silver coating of the back side on my stk rims. But it appears the same coating is also applied in the lugnut holes. Can I remove that too? The coating just seems to make it look dirty..
