I have had my 2016 Limited for a while (2019?), really like it and the only problem I've had with it are the engine mounts failing a couple years ago. Don't get the stupid air suspension.
Played around with control arm angles today, middle hole is the best for me right now. Bottom hole was twitchy, squealed tires on downshifts, and I think I don't have enough shock/spring for as hard as it hits the tires
Spend the $ on cams and a stock intake modified to short runners
It seemed like the Livernois ported B heads were never that well accepted, and with all the stories people report about them lately having heads full of machining debris etc you're probably better off.
Doesn't get that hot. I ran no blanket on turbo cars where people said the paint would come off and it never did. Those can get glowing hot (manifold at least)
False alarm...as I hooked the boost gauge back up, I noticed something. It reads 2-3in of vac when the car isn't even on. Makes sense because I thought it was funny that the car showed 22-23in vac at a warm idle.
I'll just remember to get an AutoMeter gauge at some point.
Chasing down a little issue where I am only seeing about 6lbs of boost on the initial hit. It seems to go up a little but it's hard to keep an eye on the gauge, the tach, and the road at redline to see where the boost is at...
