Having cams installed in the car. Going for 750ish rwhp. Will my rods hold up? Car has frpp 65mm tb, jlt 123 cai, Detroit rocker cams( going in soon), killer chiller, colder plugs, and only runs vp c10 fuel
The new ge tier 4 prime mover is a v12 runs at 950 rpm in 8th notch. Turbo speed is around 23k. But nothing in the display screens show boost psi. Im a locomotive electrician and ive been trying to find the boost psi too.
So I've got a thunk noise. Can be heard out the tail pipes from underneath and under the hood. The noise only comes to life after the car is almost warm. Hard revving sounds fine hard acceleration fine. Oil level is ok. Car is not throwing codes. Car has 5k on it. Has ar headers borla mufflers...
So my whine is a pinion/ ring gear issue I take it from the comments. If the carrier bearing was spinning in the bearing bore or damaged would it not be a whingeing nose?
