Got the alternator in last night. Raining here so wasn't able to drive the car, but it idled at 14.3V in the garage for 30mins. Hopefully it'll dry up soon so I can take it out for a drive. Phil

Yes that's what I'm assuming. The nations tested good, but is a 185a model. I've added the intercooler water pump so guess the current alternator just couldn't keep up. I'm putting a 250a KMJ alternator in it right now which I'm hoping takes care of it.
