ok... i have ordered a few parts (intake and accufab throttle body) and now i would like to up the boost.. i plan on buying a 6lb lower ring so that i can run 14lbs of boost. my question is when i order this new ring and belt do i need to order a idler pulley set as well( ie metco pulley...

i just did this mod to my 01 L.... after doing it i was able to see a 3lb difference in boost under WOT and could feel a difference. i then got on here to see if i could see roughly how much HP i had gained and all i found was a bunch of threads saying the mod was pointless. my question to...

my 01 L has a bad tranny the guy told me it would be 3400 bucks for a new one. is this a reasonable price if not tell me where i can get a new tranny for less
