Trying to remote tune my car with a well known tuner it has gen 2 TVS, return fuel system, high boost intake. Here’s were the problem comes in first I was running a VMP 3000 sensor and STFT were changing but was going lean, after a couple of revisions the car was still lean then my X4 locked up...
We can still buy catless pipes and all but can’t tune for them when is the epa going to crack down on those and now California with their exhaust restrictions the days of modding cars is coming to an end welcome to 2019.
So I’m in the process of tuning my car that has gen2 vmp, return fuel system, 1050x injectors, egr deleted and catless x pipe, but with the sct lawsuit with the epa the tuner I’m using is saying he can’t adjust fuel, maf,and spark tables so what should I do to get the car tuned now.
I just finish up a TVS gen 2 install along with fore fuel system, ID 1050x injectors, high boost intake with the vmp maf sensor, flash the start up tune and it fires up only for a short time it spit, spuders then dies within 5-10 seconds I’ve verified all the vacuum lines and electrical plugs...
