    Nitrous tuning questions

I got the .85=12.5 from a conversion chart, not really sure I only tune in lambda these days. Run my SC car at .80 on E85. I used to race weekly in a nitrous fox body, 200 shot and tuned it to 11.8afr. Post the logs, I'd like to take a look, at least out of curiosity. I have the SCT live...

    Daily boosted

I vote tvs 2300. Run it on E85 and the heat won't matter as much. Ive had both centris and pd blown cars and the think the pd cars are a lot more fun. I'll be moving to Houston in early September, your welcome to check my car out - it's a 2014 TVS2300 at 8lb on E85, super simple combo that...

What is a good number for timing at WOT?

I run 24 degrees at 8lb on E85. Your timing sounds about right, the 18.5 seems very conservative on E85.

    Nitrous tuning questions

When you data log what fuel trims are you seeing- if they are off it will skew load and lb/min maf flow .85 Lamda is 12.5 afr- too lean for spray. Need to be .80 to .82. Something sounds out of whack and I definitely would not spray it until you get it figured out. There are a lot of good...

15 inch vs 17 inch wheels for street use?

Go with the 15x10, I run these with MT Drag Radial Pros 275X60 and can hook on the street (M6 trans) when temps are above 70F. Im at about 650rwhp. 15" tires are cheaper too and I think look better.

VMP Gen 2R vs VMP Gen 3 for a 2014 Mustang

Just an fyi on the article above, I just used the 2015 pump assy with the stock 2015 pump in it, they are a cheap assy under $200. I added the -6AN adapter shown and followed the mod of attaching the 3/8" line to the steel fuel line. All in for less than $200, a couple hour install. With a...

VMP Gen 2R vs VMP Gen 3 for a 2014 Mustang

I run a Maggie TVS2300 with a CFM CAI at 9# and 24deg of timing on E85 through ID1000's. Car makes 660 and has been rock steady reliable but I did initially run into Build a 1,000HP Fuel System for Your 2011-2014 Mustang! - Hot Rod Networkhigh RPM fuel lean out with the stock pump and JMS BAP...

Fathouse Fabrications Budget Fuel Pump Upgrade

I tune the car myself with hp tuners. Sorry I cant answer your question on the centri fuel demand. I had a D1SC procharger on a foxbody years back, but that was a different era all together

Fathouse Fabrications Budget Fuel Pump Upgrade

I have this fathouse pump and think its a pretty good deal for e85 guys in the 650-700 hp range. It is the s550 pump with a quality adapter fitting for 2011-2014. The s550 pump has a larger fuel outlet on the pump assy which is the biggest single restriction in 2011-14 stock fuel system. On...
