Ok so I've just installed my long block
With a remote tune from Amazon.
And the car idles rough for 3 to 5 seconds
And dies . rpm's start at 1000 then start dropping
To 500 . vaccum starts at 15 then goes to zero . I've smoke tested the car from the boost port . and top port
With no leaks...
I'm planning on buying a mail order tune from Amazon .
Has anyone got a good tune from them ? Who's the best
? Mods 2.3 Whipple, stage 2 blower cams ,LT's return style fuel system.
Does anyone know of a machine shop in ga that's familiar with modular engines ? I have a 03 cobra , with a spun main bearing . I've had no luck with machine shops . Half of them don't have the equipment necessary
im looking for a good machine shop in ga . or a place to have my short block rebuild in GEORGIA
im gonna post pics later of the crank and bearings . it has a HO cobra oil pump ,cp 17cc pistons .020 over, stock rods and crank , arp main studs , head studs and rod bolts .

heres what I wanna know . can you use 03 04 mach1 cylinder heads or Lincoln continental heads on a 03 cobra ?
I only wanna use the casting . and without sacrificing performance or reliability

need a head shop in ga any input would be appreciated
heres what happened ... oil pump failure , timing chain broke on passenger side , cam towers are pretty rough. are the heads trash if the cam towers have been gouged...
I have small nicks in the pistons on the passenger side, they just about look like scratches, its not gouges. Will I need to replace the pistons? Any help will be appreciated if anyone knows what the tolerance is if there is any.
