    Bad rear axle bearing?

It's the same as in the video. Hasn't gotten any louder.

    Bad rear axle bearing?

I'm assuming that since the noise is so soft and I didn't have any noticeable play when I tested them, that they are probably in the beginning stages of going bad?

    Bad rear axle bearing?

Yeah, the noise is only there when the car has weight on the wheels. Might call East Coast Gear Supply tomorrow and see what they think.

    Bad rear axle bearing?

Here's a video I took. I'm talking about the light grinding noise. It goes away when I turn.

    Bad rear axle bearing?

Will do. I'm probably just going to go ahead and do the axle bearing and the carrier bearings.

The noise is only there when I'm moving. I have an aluminum flywheel and a kevlar clutch. Less than 10k miles.

    Bad rear axle bearing?

Yes, the noise is the same if I am in neutral. The noise gets a little quieter when I turn left, but I can still hear it. I'm kinda thinking it's the carrier bearings.

    Bad rear axle bearing?

Jacked the car up and did some tests. I can't hear anything abnormal. There is a slight brake pad/rotor noise. I took the brake assembly apart and put grease everywhere. Haven't driven the car yet but I don't think that will fix my noise. Brake noise would go away once the brakes are applied...

    Bad rear axle bearing?

Based on the fact that the noise is the same when the brakes are applied, can we rule out a brake issue?

    Bad rear axle bearing?

What types of noises do bad carrier or pinion bearings make?

    Bad rear axle bearing?

Will do. Also, if I apply the brakes the noise remains the same. I spoke to the previous owner, the rear axle wheel bearings have not been changed. It's weird because the noise changes if I turn to the left. Any thoughts on what it could be besides the bearings? Its definitely from the rear. It...

37k, but it has seen a lot of track days. It has the upgraded clutch packs. It is possible the noise is coming from the clutch packs? They have about 30k on them.
