The car is still in NC. It never had a spoiler. I have the 2001 brochure that notes the spoiler is an option. I also have a Hot Rod magazine review and also Mustang Monthly magazine that point out the same thing. The brochure and the Mustang Monthly article show Cobras without rear spoilers...

I have a 2007 GT with a Saleen supercharger and dual GT500 fuel pumps. It has new sparkplugs. The throttle body and maf have been cleaned. It starts great cold but requires a lot of cranking to start when hot. When it does start it sounds flooded for about 10 seconds. I had the same problem...
