They took it up to 7500. It was only 75 dollars to dyno so I might do that again when it cools down a bit. I took a video but the file is too big to upload to this site. They didn't say what the max boost was. But when I took it to the limiter while tuning the gauge showed 10 PSI.
Took the mustang to the dyno today to see what kind of numbers I was getting. I am sitting at 546/434 at the wheels. It was in the upper 90s today not sure if that would effect anything. Just thought I would let you guys know it looks like a gain of 201 HP over stock. Next stop is the drag strip...
Yeah the Timing chains has me a bit worried. The rest of it seems straight forward. Do you remember what a reasonable price was 1k? 600? I hit the rev limiter today. I can tell you this. I will not be hitting that thing again. I am going to be extra careful from now on.
Yeah I had no idea of what those where until I googled it just now. That would be a fun DIY project. Wish I would have done it when it was all torn apart :)
A few people PMed me so I thought I would post this. Hopefully this helps others.
Are you thinking about ordering and installing a Procharger? Not sure if you can do the install yourself? Here is my review and write up of how it went.
First about my abilities. I have always liked cars and...
Wow, I had no idea this even existed. Very easy to do. Thanks for the video. http://www.autozone.com/electrical-and-lighting/fuse-and-accessories/cooper-bussmann-atm-fuse-tap/32416_0_0
Oh yeah and I love my quick jacks. Not sure what I did before getting a pair. :) I want to get side splitters and in order to put those on I am going to have to go back to the old way of getting the car up in the air :(
No not yet, not sure where to splice into power? did you do it right below the dash there? Ground and vacuum are easy. I figured that out but power not sure where to tap in. Also where did you get the 90 degree piece for your PCV vent? The one that came with procharger is horrible.
