The THawk is the best daily driver I have ever owned. Also, I have similar bolt-on mods as you do, and I completely agree with Mike. First thing I did was swap out my stock PCM with a modified/tuned one.
I will take a picture of the odometer as soon as I return home (I travel for work every week) but if I remember correctly it is roughly 22,500. I am certain it is below 23,000 and above 22,000.
All, I am giving this thread a bump. I am moving out of my current residence by Thanksgiving, and the house I am moving into does not have a garage. Therefore, in hopes for a quicker sale I am dropping the price to $40K and it is still negotiable. Thanks!
Chances are you were only using 500 of the 707 HP because the vehicle hasn't passed the break-in period. You can figure that out when viewing the performance pages, and if you switch to Sport mode and the digital image of the drive train isn't all red (yellow instead), you are only accessing...
Is this your personal trackhawk? I am waiting to hit the 500 mile break-in period before I launch mine, but haven't seen any other users post times yet. Not that I doubt this, but these numbers are much faster than projected for the stock trackhawk.
Mine is currently in transit and has an expected delivery of the 21st. I agree aesthetically it should have been more differentiated from the base SRT models; however, there will inevitably be aftermarket parts to solve that.
Bumping this thread. In the intervening months, I have completely repainted the front fascia so all scratches/dents have been fixed there. In addition I just had it detailed, brand new plugs, oil change and put away for the winter. Also, price drop to $49,000. Also, it has 20,000 miles now.
Great thanks for confirming.
That is going to be my next step. I didn't want to bug Jon Lund too early on in the process in case I could triage the issue without him.
That is correct. With running e85, I want to be very careful about performing routine maintenance (oil, filter and plug...
Great suggestion. I will get it out of the garage when I get home from work and take it on a drive and monitor the built-in AF gauge to see if it is also showing the ebb and flow I feel. To your point, when I don't allow it 5 minutes to warm up after having sit for a while, the throttle...
I am going to do my best to explain the "issue" I am encountering so please bear with me. For the past few months, I have noticed that when attempting to hold a consistent RPM while driving, it sounds like and feels like the vehicle is sputtering. In other words, it almost seems like the...
