    01 Bullitt

The only way I see making that car right is completely gutting it from the water line down and going with fresh components. At 2k, and lets call it 3k worth of parts. You'd be 5k into a car that wouldn't be much more than 7k, not including your time. I hope it does get put back on the road...

Happy new year Everyone! I see that this thread is in need of an update Got my hardware back from the platers I tackled the transmission next. Pressure wash and aluminum cleaner got the case looking decent. Regreased the MGW linkage and re-installed with a @CobraBob shifter gasket. This...

MG 2001 Cobra Terminator Swap - Build Thread

I had the cradle, upper control arms, and sway bar w/ hardware cerakoted for $500 including sand blasting. Powdercoating is quite a bit cheaper because shops spray many parts at once and cook them together and the cerakote material is way more. I got a quote for $250 to powder coat. Another...

MG 2001 Cobra Terminator Swap - Build Thread

I didn't want to compromise the integrity of the bushings by removing them in order to put them in the oven since I bought them already installed. There are pros and cons of both, and while thicker the cerakote shows very similar protection against chipping etc as the powdercoat per my research...

MG 2001 Cobra Terminator Swap - Build Thread

Little IRS action, I've been excited to put this together for a while. When I first got the cradle it was in okay shape, but not good enough. So I sent it out to cerakote. Before After Cerakote is top notch. Replaced factory garbage cross axis joints with FTBR ones. These have brand new...
