The peak torque rpm and the fact that it makes more torque than hose power screams it has too small of a cam. Put a proper sized cam in there and it would pick up a lot, probably an easy 60 horsepower without touching pistons or fuel.
Mine was not an original v8 car, I did just double check vins and they are not matching.
