I knew about the 2002 Cobra but this is the first I have heard of a regular 2000 Cobra. Where is this information coming from?

If it was on the wing, I would say it would be on the bottom of the pedestal where it would not be seen while on the car. If you haven't seen before, the non-R cars have the VIN on most of the body panels with a white sticker type thing. John

Also, keep in mind if you are cycling the key on and off that the injectors are going to be firing. It is probably not a good idea for them to be cycling without fuel or fuel pressure. I suggest either holding your foot to the floor so the PCM will not cycle them or just disconnecting them. John

Yes, there is. You might have better luck energizing the fuel pump to drain the tank. Or if you lower the tank enough to get the filler tube out there will be plenty of room for a siphon hose. John

Sounds like the fuel cell bladder has deteriorated. I have the same problem with my 95R, it was leaking from a small hole at the bottom right rear of the cell. I believe the Ethanol in the CA fuel is the culprit. Getting the bladder replaced in the factory cell can be pretty expensive around...

Sounds like the author is not much of a fan of our beloved R models. He is correct about the 95R seats though haha

Is there anyone on here going to Fabulous Fords Forever this year? If so, would you want to meet up with my 95R so we can stage together in the snake pit? I am pretty sure I had the only R there last year. John
