Finally got into the 10s on the juice in 3900 ft air last night at my local track. This motor hasn't been touched in nearly two years but I spent the last year sorting out drive train and tune problems. Finally put it all together...
Here are the videos, first one is in car, first pass...
From Friday night 7-29-05, on a 175 shot, 3500 lb convertible.
Here are the videos, first one is in car, first pass, then the last two. Second one is from a friend of mine. Can't hear the itty bitty Ford next to the big pushrod truck motor in the left lane on the first pass. He broke on...
ProMotion finally got my face plated TKO-500 fixed perfectly and I was able to make some passes on Friday night. This is a 3550 lb 99 Cobra convertible with a forged motor and a 175 shot, live axle, etc. But it is still a street car, full interior, etc. I am still trying to re-learn how to...
How about a 1.35 and a 1.38 60', first time in the 1.3x ever. Only took a 175 shot, and it is still a little rich, so maybe I can get it down a little more. Best on a 150 shot at this track was a 1.41. This is at 3000 ft altitude, 4300 ft density altitude, 11.13 at 122 mph on Friday, 5/21/04...

From a week ago, in 4000 ft air. This was the first hard pass on new ET Drags and a new Wolfe Racecraft rear anti-sway bar setup with a little too much preload on the right side. I wasn't shifting hard on this pass. Launch on the 6800 rpm limiter, shift at 8000 rpm.
My little go-to-work...
Finally, after 2 years of trying to solve.....
I have a 99 ZMR3 nitrous car with a built engine that can go to 8000 rpm easily. I have been running the last 6 months with an Autologic chip that was setup to defeat, not reset the rev limiter. With no rev limiter, I had the nitrous window...
This is a video we made of the 10.77 run at San Antonio Raceway last week. I am happy, very, very happy with the car right now, LOL.

I backed it up with a 10.83.
This is a forged motor that I built, plus a 150 shot. 3450 lbs.

Actually Friday night at San Antonio Raceway. On a 150 shot, I made it solidly into the 10s, after running all year at 3000 feet in West Texas with 6 passes between 11.04 and 11.10. I drove to good air in San Antonio specifically to get the elusive 10.xx and made it.
This is with a full...
Well, I didn't get into the 10s quite yet at 3000 feet altitude, but here is a pretty good video anyway of the best I was able to do. This is on a 150 shot.

I have 35 passes and 25 dyno pulls on the new engine combination since going to the...
I edited two runs down to show how you have to baby the little T-45 trans on launch and on the 1-2 shift in these cars. Even I am surprised I've not had any trans problem in 4 years of running the car.

This is why I kept my 99.....
Manny Alvarez and Jeremy picked the parts for me, I put the engine together over the summer. I only ran an 11.47 on a 100 shot in True Street trim last weekend. This week I put the ET Drags back on and took the exhaust off and put in the 150 jets and, after a...
Here is the dyno curve....

I will run it tonight at a 3000 ft altitude track. Should be at least as fast as at FFW last week at Ennis where we...
