    LTH and emissions

Thanks. I haven't seen them do a visual inspection before. Might change if it was louder...but then again most of the guys doing the inspection don't have a clue.

    LTH and emissions

I'm curious as to how you guys that live in emissions strict places(*California..Austin...etc) run long tubes and pass emissions. I'm in Austin and I know they run the full OBDII round of checks.

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

Yea, definitely better to shop around and piece it together slowly.

That was for the slave cylinder.

    Sanity check - IAT2

Those are about the same as my results. Stock HE. But after some driving around...out of the boost in traffic, I usually don't see the 30 degree delta that everyone else does. It's usually closer to 45 degrees. Everyone swears by these aftermarket HEs. When I first got the car, Van told me...

Best tuner for Kenne bell 168mm throttle body

No longer have the car, but Ken Bjonnes at PB Dyno did a fantastic job. I run both his and Lund's tunes and have done so on my Coyote and Trinity cars. Ken did a better job on the 168 by a mile. They both made similiar power but if I had to have that TB again(I'd be hesitant to ever get a...

    E85?

So, a lot of the 5.0 guys are saying that they burn up the O2 sensors unless they relocate the bungs in the exhaust to point down or something like that. Does our exhaust not have that problem?

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

I think you're making the right choice. Assuming you are doing the work yourself, it's only a day lost under the car if you're getting the clutch setup for free. Do the slave while you're in there. It's only a hundred bucks IIRC. That transmission is heavy...get a friend or 5. lol

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

Yea, the DYAD really is one of the best compromises I think. I have gotten used to the slight chatter/noise. As long as you expect it and can get used to the fact that those characteristics are normal, you'll be fine. I also went w/ the MGW Gen II at the same time...so that also increased the...

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

This is just my opinion...but even if I didn't have the 3.73s, and considering other people's success with the stock parts, I'd go stock if I had it to do again. You'll come out 1/2 the price in parts. Nothing wrong w/ the DYAD but it doesn't sound like you're thrilled with the compromises...

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

^^^ Agreed. I'm running 3.73s now so that'll be a little less brutal on the stock clutch should I decide to go back.

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

That was my concern too. Especially since my stock clutch was giving up at probably around 685WHP. That said, I got the car w/ 17.5k miles on it. No telling how it was treated or driven before I got ahold of it.

They are. The second disk is integrated into the pressure plate assembly.

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

Yea, sorry. I put the list together for my '14 so that's why it's missing. IMHO, if you're going to replace the line, get a 70 dollar braided line from Van anyway.

Stock -> Centerforce DYAD. My thoughts and the installation results.

Because I'm not tremendously pleased w/ the DYAD, I put together this parts list the other day so that I can go back to my stock '14 clutch at some point. Considering Ford may obsolete these parts in the not too distant future, it will be good to have them on hand anyway. I would assume they...
