... I am pretty sure this was the model Porsche said they validated the transmission by doing 100 back to back launch control 0-60s and each one was 2.6s? ... or maybe that was a car magazine?
Oh BTW anybody seen the new Road and Track???
I looked back at some notes I had... 5-6 hours for damper install plus the damper itself (seal and crank bolt). The damper is about $400, so this is not an inconsequential amount! ATI seems preferred over all others (and it's rebuildable) without having to remove it entirely from the car (if...
The C6 with the LS3 is probably the way to go, it was a little later in the life of the C6.
The earlier C6, LS2's had harmonic damper issues (they would start to squeak and fall apart). A fluid damper is the absolute way to go, but a reasonable amount of work is involved in getting it in...
Cool cool car... The '16 is the first year for Sync3 if I recall, and (for me) that is a huge plus. Used it for a week and absolutely loved it. Such great tech.
HP aside, my understanding is that '18 had a significant clutch upgrade that made the car much more enjoyable to drive. Though I do...
... wrong forum?
I've seen the tensioner support plate from Metco, but didn't seem to see anybody install that here that I can remember. Is this really an issue? Mods, if wrong forum I'll take the gentle guidance. ;)
I really don't know, but I am pretty sure there is no horn alarm in that sense (other than the panic button). Meaning if the window was down and somebody reached in and unlocked the car and opened the door there would be no honking. So the PATS system is more of an ignition key thing only and...
By 2035 all new cars in Cali must be electric. Most/all states will follow Cali (biggest market for auto makers in US).
So this will happen, I have no doubt.
FWIW... pipe a second main drain with separate piping (super easy at construction) and T it into a small header out of the ground by the filter. It sounds like you're there for the long haul, in case one of the main drains cracks you'll have a backup to revert to and continue to have good pool...
... so I saw a solution to this, but it depends on your comfort level. I have a 98GT you need two programmed keys to make the third and fourth cheaply without a dealer reprogram.
If you copy your one Ford key and cut another cheap key with NO chip in it, you can hide your one remaining chipped...
A friend of mine did this same thing recently. He was looking for and purchased a wagon E53 after test driving an E63 (2020).
The E63 was overly harsh in its ride on summer tires, so the dealer put winter tires on the 21s and drove it to his house for another test drive. The ride was still...
