I'm also not a C8 fan. I thought it would grow on me, but it hasn't yet.
The overall proportions are great, very exotic, but once I look at the finer points (pun intended), it starts to look cheap. I told my wife, just today, that it looks like they had to leave design space for the higher...
By my estimates, it's because there was an hole in the market for people who bitch about how big, and tall, the Ranger is. The Ranger gets marginally better fuel economy than the F150 and is much smaller. This Maverick is 11" shorter than the Ranger, with most of that in the bed and the...
You certainly have more seat time than I do, so I value your rankings. My opinion is heavily based on the rear seat in the Ranger being too small for my use, which is mainly a family (of 4) adventure/weekend warrior vehicle.
A 250 Tremor is high on my list, as I’d like to have the 7.3L and...
I like it. There is a clear market for this truck and the Ranger was always too close to the F150 in both price and MPG to appeal to me.
This truck retains the utility benefits of a small truck while trading some capability for the advantages of a cross-over based chassis.
I'd take mine as...
My understanding is 1.5L 3-pot and 2.0 4cyl., just like the Bronco Sport. At 181 and 250hp, respectively, with turbo torque, I think that will be adequate.
Thanks, Bob! It's our family adventuremobile and I've been smitten with it over the last 3 years. I've upgraded the interior with Lariat seat skins, a Platinum steering wheel, and the suspension with a Fox 2.0 kit that I took a bit of "as delivered" lift out of, to maintain a very slight rake.
Ironically, I was going to thank him for posting these here. I saw them on Instagram, but the larger screen really lets us appreciate the detail and amount of work that went into the welding. Looks great!
I'm not that jaded, I think it's amazing. 1100hp with stock driveability, without spinning tons of RPM or making ridiculous amounts of boost. That's amazing.
Hmmm....I was the one who brought your car into that discussion, so my apologies for those who didn't see your car on the same level as I do. You know where I stand. :)
