Ok so I was way,way over thinking this, could not have been easier...took longer to get all the induction and TB removed than to remove the blower...thanks for the advice
It looks as though the rear bolt on the drivers side is nearly impossible to get to,am I looking at it wrong?ir does it take a swivel socket or special tool?
03 cobra motor and trans swapped 03 Mach 1 with a 3.6 KB mammoth blower. Bought motor and trans used with the blower already installed so I have no experience on installing it,dropped old K member removed stock Mach motor and bolted on termi..that’s the long and short of it.
looks like a...
I believe I have the main power from the battery going to the starter, then from the starter to the fuse box,and the alternator to the fuse box as well to the the fuse box,it's been a while since I looked at it,so that may be wrong. I'll double check that...not 100% on the ground wire...
No way its corroded, all new wiring with marine grade water resistant heat shrink on all terminated ends, checked battery voltage to alternator and it was losing less than 1/10 of a volt and checked at the factory power distribution and fuse box with similar results
did exactly that,to the point where I thought the wires might break if I pull or wiggle any harder. If it was pinching when the motor moved it would do it regardless of how much power it makes. I would think that as the power increases the need or load would increase as well, and thats why i dont...
it seems like a power or ground problem right? thats what I've been thinking all along, but no matter how many times I ohm or re-check the cables I come up with the same answer.. if any one else has relocated the battery please describe how you branched of the grounds once you got to the front of...
I honestly can't remember,I want to say that they did sweep occasionally as if the car was losing power, that's probably why I checked all the grounds and added a few. Also forgot to mention that the battery is in the trunk and I ran 1 gauge welding cable for both power and ground to the front of...
I believe I can, must have been able to if he was changing the tune, but because we werent on a dyno he had the timing dialed waaaay back, really wasn't making any HP
so as the title states:I have an 03 mach 1 that I did a complete termi swap on with a mammoth KB 2.6 blower and T56,other than the obvious here are the mods:stock manifolds no cats, dual walboro 450 fuel pumps controlled by relay and ignition switch, boost referenced regulator as well,80lb...
