    Ordered my Cobra in July of 02. Received the car first week of October. In 2012, I put a new Motorcraft battery in thats still in in today. The first battery never let me down, I just replaced it due to its age. I still have the original.

    I' ve ordered an aftermarket boost gauge as a diagnostic tool. I'll tap it in to watch for any boost loss more accurately. After all your excellent responses, I'm leaning towards the high temps that night. I'll let you know the results after the next trip. Thanks to all for the input. CapeRCode
