So I get new tire mounted on my front wheels (17 by 9) with 275/40/17 and now the steering wheel has this vibration at speed, say 45 miles per hour and up. Do you think they didn't balance the wheel's properly? 70,000 miles on the car with the original shocks.
What do you guys think?

Any body know if a good car detailer in the Dallas area. I'm talking specifically about the paint. Some sort of 3 or 4 step process. Remove oxidation, swirles, polish and wax . Some where in the $150.00 to $200.00 range. Where when I get the car back the paint will look like the day the car...
It only does it on start up and only every so often, Couple a times a week, starts up like a champ then just dies. Sometimes it just take a blip or two from the throttle and it idles perfectly other times you drive it 30 seconds and it remembers and then other times I'll drive till the car is...

I mean lots of cars look good and even great but nothing that just blows me away. What comes to mind is the new BMW M3 with I believe the 5 spokes 18's 9I believe with the rivets all around. When I saw those rims I was taken back for a sec and there are even some corvette rims that just put you...
I gave the Cobra a tune up yesterday and was wondering whats the meaning of all these vacuum hoses and the hoses that go from the valve covers to the black rubber before the throttle body. What exactly is the purpose of all this junk. I mean if you look at the hose with the PVC valve. It goes...
How do you get the fuel lines off the fuel filer on a 98 Cobra, I remember on my 95 GT they just slid off but I pulled and pulled with no avail, is there some trick.
I know most people do about 3K for the oil and filter ( some more some less), what what about air filter, spark plugs, wires, PCV, fuel filter, transmission fluid, coolant, brakes, shocks, Just curious
I'm changing my spark plugs and when i pulled out the spark plug boot for #7 cylinder there was some oil on the boot and on the spark plug however I cannot see where there anyway oil was able to get in there, the treads on the spark plug were not damaged in any way. Anybody know what the deal...
Got a ticket, opted for the defensive driving however I thought I had 120 days and come to find out that I have only 90 days so by the time I sent all my info in the 90 days had past. Stupid on my part. Now at the court my plan is beg for forgiveness and show the judge all my paperwork and then...
