C5aig... I color matched the tail lights myself. Some one has since made a "how-to," here's the link:

I bought an acrylic paint from an autobody paint store that is color matched to the DSG color code. Acrylic paint was the only type they could put into a spray can but it didn't have to be wet-sanded or clear coated which was nice.
If you do an advanced search for post made by me in the Gen 2 forum using the key terms "painted tails," "color matched tails" or something along those lines you'll find quite a few threads which might have additional information and pics. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
