I did an MGW on a lift on my 2010 in about 2 hours. Could probably do it in an hour now. it's doable on jack stands but may take a little longer. Basic hand tools are all that's needed.

So far with the Lund tune, best I've run is 12.2. That's at 5600' elevation at Bandimere Speedway. I'm almost at the end of the stock 47# injectors, so that's going to be it. I can't change injectors if I want to be able to pass emissions with the KB tune unfortunately.

I also have the Zeitronix ZT3. Easy install and the reading is very accurate. I have it tied into my Lund nGauge.

There are a few good GT500 tuners out there. I use Lund Racing but BJ McCarty at Venomous Tuning is highly regarded as well. See post #3 above for BJ's info.

I installed the same 2.8LC kit on my '10 back in March. I replaced my injectors with a new set of stock injectors, you're right, they would be a PITA to change after the fact. The larger injectors are going to cause you issues with the KB tune. The KB tune is written with the stock 47# injectors...

I run the Motorcraft 5W/50 and Ford Racing filter....no problems at all.

In my past experience with my 12 GT going into limp mode and no CEL's, it ended up being an issue with the throttle body, the TPS was going bad. Replaced the TPS and all was good.

Personally, I would change the fuel filter. Sitting so much has likely gummed up the filter some. It's an easy job. It wouldn't hurt to change the trans fluid because of the age also. Another easy task.

I'm running the Strange adjustable struts and shocks. They perform great and it's nice that they have some adjustability.
