Well car is a no go, I called the dealer. He was very knowledgeable about the car and where it came from. He did say it had been checked over by gearheads and had one cylinder low in compression. If they sold into me for $20k I'd do it, then just have it rebuilt lol

In anybody's own experience what is the best auto trans for good streetability?

Cool thanks man, thanks that's what I was wanting to here. Someone who has used the shop and had good experience. I've emailed gearheads and the dealer about any addiction motor build reciepts/paper work but nobody has returned my emails.

That price seems reasonable, if it truly has a built motor twin turbo, trans and SRA.

All aside from having ALL the supporting mods to run race gas and E85, can an 03-04 have a tune for each? One for the track and street? Are there any problems doing this. This is just a hypothetical question....I have heard guys doing a race gas tune and a pump gas tune for the street, but...

Yes I see it all the time! Why build it then put 1000miles on it then sell it. But people buy them like that. In reality what should you really believe is the reason why they are selling it....great build on a car or has hidden problems that aren't disclosed, or for whatever reason they tell...

I am close to Dallas so i am able to see the car. Do you suggest a third party compression/leak down test. Granted it is being sold by a dealer so they could tell me it was done and everything is good, just to sell a car.

I have not checked the market, as I'm a currently TDY in Texas. But I'm just looking to purchase a well build high HP cobra and have it shipped back to my home station.

I'm not so much worried about the dealer but wanting to know if anyone has dealt with the shop it was built at.
