got the car to the track for the first time this year. the index class i race is 11.30 but i made run alll out pass in the morning, went 11.0 @ 130 w/ a 1.60 short time. . . . which makes me happy considering the 17" drag radials. I think it would have went 10's on the next pass as my 1/8th mile...

how much is normal. . ? my car was tuned at 18 psi in the summer. . took it out yesterday and, gave it a squirt and hit 22 psi at 6100rpm. . . i of course put it back in the jar and went home as Im sure that couldn't have been good on 92 octane BP. is a 4 psi increase between 80 degrees F and 44...
I had my car out today and it was running well. whenever i goose it a bit and it's under load, i smell oil in the cockpit. no smoke, pulls hard, just a hint of oil smell inside.
only thing that i have done since before it started was put a new coupler "spider" in my kenne bell. .
