Without pulling apart my car I'm not sure I can offer you much more help. I believe Item 3 in the bottom frame labeled "engine control sensor wiring connector" is indeed C139 and the other half of the connector in you Picture #5. It must connect under the intake manifold. I can't say for sure as...
I believe that is inline connector C139. It matches the pinout positions in the picture.
Pin-1 is BK (Black) Crankshaft Position Sensor Shield
Pin-2 is not used
Pin-3 is DB (Dark Blue) CKP Sensor Positive [+]
Pin-4 is TN (Tan) Fuel Injector-1 PCM Switched Ground
Pin-5 is not used
Pin-6 is not...
Cranking at WOT will prevent the injectors from firing. I have needed to do this on occasion with my '01 if it stalls after a cold start. Acts like it is flooded.
I think you are mistaken. The connector in Picture #5 appears to be an 8-way. The knock sensor connector is similar in design and looks, but is only a 2-way connector. What are the wire colours going to that connector?
I installed the FTBR setup a few years ago. I would definitely recommend the whole package. Here is a picture of the assembly ready to re-install. The kit is pretty straight forward but it is not for the beginner. I even made my know puller tool to remove the bushings
Picture 5 has a black 8-way connector in your hand. If it has 4 wires going to it (BK/PK, DG/OG, LG/WH, and YE/WH) then it is inline connector C1008 which is for the wiper motor. There should be the other half behind the lower cowl cover. Here is a picture of the harness going in behind the...
The PCM uses the front O2 sensors to control the fuel being injected into the engine. The rear O2 sensors are used to monitor the efficiency of the cats and will throw a MIL if the signal is out of range. I don't believe you can just not use all four O2 sensors, even with tune.
The only 2 green EPC connectors I have information on are the front oxygen sensors and the only true way to determine left from right is by wire colours. They are on two different harnesses, the left is on harness 12B637 (that is just the base part number) and the right is on 15525.
BTW, the...
