    Another ECM question

    If the guy buys the ECM/PCM (They are one in the same on our cars right?) with the engine, does it render my ignition useless? Are they not paired together? Hope that makes sense.

    Don;y know what to ask:

    Guy is interested in my engine and other items. I was asking for $5000.00 ($4800.00 USD) for my engine from the oil pan to the throttle body. No fuel stuff, Alt, PS, A/C, emissions stuff or coils. They guy now would like the: EGR, ALT, PS pump, Water pump, A/C pump, and engine harness...

    Ecm..

    Might be parting out the car, and i have a guy interested in the motor. He said if he takes the engine, he would like the ECM and coils and engine harness. Is that something that usually goes with the engine? or should i ask for more $$? :shrug:
