    Mcleod RXT 1200

Great idea. I will try that when I get home with the car rolling in neutral. I think you might be right. I dont know how I could of not damaged something. Ugh. Not sure what would make the clack noise. If i bent the pilot bearing I think I would have some vibration. Im not an expert with...

    Mcleod RXT 1200

If you listen to the clip you can hear the clack at :04 :06 and :08. Its easy to hear it if you have headphones. I am giving it a little throttle each time it makes the clack on the clip so its happening at low speeds in gear when I give it throttle. I installed my suspensions correctly. I used...

    Mcleod RXT 1200

I forgot to mention an important piece of info which is kinda embarrasing. There was originally a squeaking noise after the original install. Almost like a small squeek when it was cold. Very light sound but noticeable. It eventually went away after the transmission/clutch would warm up...

    Mcleod RXT 1200

I did the installation with a friend on a lift. Install went fine. im somewhat mechanical so I didnt find it to be that hard. Just removing the heavy ass transmission was the hardest part. Ive had the new clutch installed for about 4000 miles now. Followed the break in procedure for 500 miles...

    Mcleod RXT 1200

Yea I have no problem driving around town. 1st and 2nd gear can be a little jerky/chatty which I know is normal with the mcleod clutches. The noise that is concerning me is when I am slightly rolling with it already in 1st gear at like 5mph. It makes a loud clunk when I give it light throttle...

    Mcleod RXT 1200

I am getting a "clacking" noise when I engage my transmission into first gear. It almost sounds like a clunk or a clack. When the car is stopped and in neutral and I put it into first gear with the clutch still pushed down the transmission or clutch makes the noise. Its very noticeable. Is this...

BMR - Spherical bushing vs Poly bushing

Im going to give it a couple 100 miles before I change the spherical bushing to the poly. I may have already bought the poly upper control arm anyways lol. I need to build the rear end soon so I might wait till after I get it done to see if the NVH is more tolerable. Thanks for the input guys!

BMR - Spherical bushing vs Poly bushing

I have the BMR upper control arm mount and upper control arm with the spherical bushing. The NVH is honestly too much even for a weekend car/track car. I like to drive my shelby with the windows down and no music but I still find the noise unbearable. Will I notice a significant difference in...

    Solid motor mounts

Sorry I should of said I have them already installed with my BMR k member. I actually like the feel of the vibration. Makes me feel more connected to the engine. I can deal with the noise because its not that bad but the big negative is the harshness. I have heard of stories of people...

    Solid motor mounts

Any negatives to solid motor mounts? I have solid billet alumium motor mounts from bmr with a bmr k member and the stock transmission k member. I know there is a lot of NVH with the solid motor mounts. I just want to make sure Im not going to damage the transmission. I am around 650 rwhp.

American racing headers catted x pipe

I have a 2011 gt500 with ARH long tube headers installed 1-7/8" x 3" collectors. I currently have the ARH x pipe catless installed with 3" collectors x 2.75" factory. I want to replace the catless x pipe with a catted x or h pipe. I cant find just an x pipe with cats from ARH. All is see is...
