Thanks, I just tried to hook up the speakers using the RCA connectors. I guess that was what you ment.... The sub works fine, (as before) but no sound coming out from the other speakers. I cannot find any settings in the HU for selecting output to RCA or DIN, so I'm stucked....again.... Any...

Two things I noticed though... 1. Static noise is noticeable, especially in Bluetooth mode. 2. Radio tuner - sound is still bad (CD and Bluetooth sound is ok). Tried with a different antenna - still bad sound. Any ideas?

HI, Just rebuilt the diff with new carbon clutch, new bearings (all over) and re-shimmed the gears due to too much backlash. I reused the original 3.55 gears as they looked fine. Clunk gone!! Do I need to break it in after such a rebuild? Thanks!

Due to "clunk" in in the diff, I took it out and opened it up to measure the backlash. Result: 0,016 to 0,018 - too much (Ford recommends 0,008 to 0,012). I'm not quite sure what to do now: 1. Shim the crown so the backlash will be whithin spec. Leave the pinion alone. -or- 2. Take out the...
