For future reference of others, yes you reuse stock bearings and yes you risk losing bearings if you're not careful when separating the stock pieces to use with the MM plates.
I'm in the same boat. Steeda's only offer 1* camber and I would like a little more for the track. Vorshlag are a little out of my ballpark but appear to be the best. Ground control seem to be a good option as long as you don't overtorque them. There are BBK's and a couple other cheaper ones...
