Hey guys, quick question. Kinda tricky.

What I have learned from reading is that I need to increase my fuel system by 30% to be able to run E85.

At the moment my car is stock and I live in California (91 pump max). I will be going with a Procharger next summer. For now the car is daily driven.

Question:

Will it be beneficial at all to do the conversion to E85 now or just wait?
I know I'll need a tune and most likely will get a pulley, CAI and H/E w/ Fans meanwhile..stock isn't fun.

How much will this "kit" cost?

Thank you very much for your time.

It depends on how much power you are wanting to produce. Your stock fuel system will only be able to support about 550-575 rwhp on E85, so anything above that will require an upgrade. Our GT500 Dual Pump Return System will support about 750 rwhp and our GT500 Triple Pump Return System will support over 1000 rwhp, both on E85. But you are right about needing roughly 30% more fuel to support the same HP on E85. I would look into those system to see which one fits your goals. You can always upgrade the dual pump system to a triple later down the road as well.

Thanks.

Ok cool that answered a lot of my questions. I'll be looking at the dual pump system.

So in the mean time all that will be needed is a tune or ?? (stock set up for now) I know I can't just pull up to the pump and start pumping...lol
