Not worth the cost for such a subtle change IMO.

agree 100% lol.. They were a bit pricey, but i like the different look of the cobra mirrors over the run of the mill plastic ones.. The glass shape is a little different as well

Thanks guys

the wheels were black chrome fr500s.. i had them powder coated.. they are gloss black... i had it done right before the stealth fr500s (flat black) came out... i would definatley had bought those

Good info here . My drivers mirror has started to vibrate a little when at highway speeds so I may take it apart following your guide.

x2, its funny the op just posted this guide

the glass on my drivers side export mirror started to shake after i got it dissasembled and painted, but I couldnt find info anywhere on how to take the glass out and im scared to death to break the glass on the mirror :(

hmm

Thanks for the write up- a lot of people will find it useful. I love your car :rolling:

I disagree w the notion that its not worth the $ for such a "subtle" change. When you get to the point that you are at- on the brink of a clean/finished look a subtle change like this makes ALL the difference. Remember it's the little things that seperate. I would have liked to see them in red vs black, but either way they do look great. Not only is the glass cut differently on the Cobra mirrors, but they just look so much classier than the plastic junk that came stock. When you sit inside the cockpit, looking out into the Cobra ones vs the stock ones is night and day... you see way more out of them for one. Two, back to the classy feeling vs the crappy craftsmenship feeling. They fold away too... I loved that on my Bullitt. To me at least the mirrors add a much more polished look that you cant really put a price on.
