If I won that much money, I sure as hell would keep it on the down low from all the media. It baffles me how they could even show pictures of the winners.

You can go anonymously if you like. Hince he didn't think it was required.
Plus in most states after you pick the cash option and taxes you only get 31% yes 31% of the advertised drawings. Still 77.5 Million isn't bad.

I wish that just for once a normal person would win the lottery. It seems like every time someone wins the lottery, they're either white trash, 120 years old, or half retarded (although, I guess that's the same as white trash :-D)

I bet he's gonna buy him some uh dem there nascars buddy! Aw shit! Gonna have Dale Jr. over for a hoedown and spend the rest on Pabst Blue Ribbon and cheap hookers! Woo Doggy! :bored:

Im honestly not jealous. I cannot remember the stat but most people that win the lottery will tell you they wish they never did, most of them end up broke, bankrupt and homeless.

I give this guy a year before he is all three.

at least someone that needed it won... how many already wealthy people have won powerball when it was over 150-300mill?? that wasn't right at all.

does anyone know if he bought the powerplay option? i know it doesn't effect the jackpot but i've noticed every jackpot winner of powerball (e true hollywood story about them) they didn't get the play option. kinda weird.

I saw him on TV this morning, his girlfriend was sitting next to him. He said he wasn't sure if he was going to quit his job as a clerk at the quick mart gas station??? WTF... With $258MM he could most likely purchase the entire chain of quick mart gas stations let alone remain employed there @ $7.50 an hour. At least get some new front toofs.

fist thing I would do is buy a shit ton of gold as a solid investment, pay off all my family members homes, buy one for myself and call up MMR for one of their 351 modular builds and get my cobra ready for the track. After that I would be happy enough that I wouldn't need to go blowing away money needlessly

At least it went to someone who needed the money. It's very depressing to see wealthy people win it. Hopefully we won't be one of the stories of the lottery winners who end up going bankrupt.

Shaw said he needed a few days to decide whether he will keep his minimum-wage job at the store where he has worked for just three weeks.

this makes me laugh for some reason.

I would just pay off my debts and invest enough to make $100k a year...buy a few cars, buy a house on each coast, then become a marine biologist. Probably donate a Mil to the zoo.

Maybe he will run for president, seems like a good choice vs what we have now.
