Wow those landscape shots are amazing. It's make me want to ride a horse around and kill people with swords.

I just bought Photomatix and this is the first picture that I have ever tried to HDR. I can see now that I am going to have a lot of fun with this as I learn more about it.

Nice ^^^^^ a bit more light smoothing should make those really pop... Thats not too far from where I live in Orygun.....

Thanks. Means a lot coming from you. Those are actually the levels you suggested once in a post w/ a little tweaking to my taste. I have it saved as "OUTLAW" under my defaults. It's the one I usually use.

D700 w/ a 24-120VR f/3.5-5.6 handheld. Not the best glass in the world, but it has good range. It was 7 pics, but was too large to post. What you're seeing is about 4-5 of them. I'm going to get this one printed I think. I used photomatix to HRD the images, then stitched them in CS4.

Thanks. I can't wait to try and do some more. I think this could be addictive. ;-)

nice shot Hissman.
I noticed that Longaberger has infected your house - I'm sorry. I feel your pain.

Yeah, yeah. My wife is a sales rep, so you can imagine what the rest of my house is like...

I got bored and played around with Photomatrix a little bit... I shoot with a Canon XSi with the basic 18-55mm lens for now. Feel free to critique or throw in some pointers!

Made this one out of a single JPG I took last year:coolman:

This one was AEB of -2 to +2. It was a total whiteout so it turned out pretty sweet I think!
