I paid sticker for mine... But they are selling really well up here, so haggling on price isn't going to do you much good when they can't keep them on the lot.

In fact my Raptor is returning to the dealership for a day just so people can look at it :)

Yeah its all good, the guy that runs the dealership is a buddy of mine and a SVT nut..

He's gone out of his way to help me out with warranty work when I've needed it :)

Yep... I wanted one now, and in order to get one that's what had to be done.. Since all of the Raptors coming in are pre-sold, its kind of hard to justify to his staff that they won't get commission on a Raptor sale because I'm a friend of his.

The money I would have saved on the Raptor, I have easily saved on warranty work, so it all balances out. Finding a dealership that is modification friendly can be difficult and can cause major headaches, so if it costs me a few thousand bucks to ensure that relationship is intact, then it is worth it in the end ya know?

I plan on picking up one in the next 6 months and getting the 6.2. I have no intention of paying more than $500 over invoice tops.

Don't forget, The dealer gets a 3% holdback from Ford, plus $975 (delivery) plus that BS $900-$1000 they add as "advertising", so they will still make $2,500-$3,000 on the sale.

My rationale has always been, you are just placing an order. You are not "selling" me as I already know exactly what I want. If your not interested I will just call the dealership down the street.

I am getting mine for sticker but I got a real good price on my trade-in. If I sell my trade-in before hand, the dealer will knock off $3K just so they don't have it on the lot sitting.

If you're happy with your deal - that is all that matters....but, I have to ask: how do you save money on warranty work? If it's under warranty....uh...

MSRP for my Raptor with just only the luxury package is 40,945..

i asked for invoice, they denied for 2 weeks lol i then got them to deal on 2K off, plus they added in other incentives...so i ended up paying 38,945, also got 3.9% APR for 60 months...invoice is 37,000. I brought it in december, right when the truck was really hot on the floor, everybody and their mother was buying them at the time. Now you can buy a 5.4 at invoice im sure. Now for the 6.2...good luck. everybody is saying they got a 6.2 at invoice through encs, most are over seas...

Im Active duty and i still didnt even get the 500 military rebate, as there is nothing available for the SVT Raptor...nothing lol

but im happy and stoked about the truck, i couldnt have been more geeked than anything else. well worth it in the end:beer:
