Some of you guys are starting to sound a little pathetic with these dyno numbers, especially when it's only a 10-20hp difference. I put down 427whp on my buddy's Dynojet with only intake/exhaust. With intake/exhaust/stg 4 port it put down 420whp on the same untouched dyno. Now that obviously isn't correct because the car pulled much harder than before so it was due to the weather, but the variables and inconsistencies show. But it sounds rediculous when you talk about this part and that part will get me these numbers when the numbers hardly matter unless everyone is doing it in the same conditions with the same dyno.

I agree! Also, 96stanggt and lthl vnm both claim 550rwhp on dynojets, and both have the stage 3 port.

If the snake bite does make 550 sae on multiple cars, then I will be a believer.

I was always under the impression that Kevin hit his number on a Mustang Dyno.



Dwight's got it. My numbers were hit on Amazon's mustang dyno in the middle of winter (20*). The most it's layed down so far on a dynojet were 541rwhp STD or 530rwhp SAE in the middle of summer (93*). With the updated (Posi) port and Dragon setup it's going to make more power, already has even with through tuning issues. Since I'm still working through the tuning issues I haven't bothered posting up the new numbers or progress.

so thats prob uncorrected. SAE makes a level playing field by using the same "variables" all the time. you/your tuner was prob shooting for actual power that day. if they are both SAE...well....

Interesting. I never knew for sure, just taking a guess that the numbers were from a dynojet because they were pretty high.

I would like to know how the tuning is coming along with the Posi though (you can pm me if need be) I am still on the fence about his port or an updated steggy port.

hmm... I was under the same impression, as his sig used to read those numbers. However, he moved back to the same town I live in, and has told me, and posted here, that it put down 550/546 .. I didn't argue, because I wasn't there, but I will ask for a graph.

Not true at all. I have had multiple cars tuned at Pro-Dyno. I am also friends of Dan, Rob and Paul. I have an 03 with a stage IV steggy that laid down 515 in much better weather conditions. They were actually doubting this port when I told them someone other than Stiegemeier ported the blower. Then when it laid down what it did, they were shocked. My point being, the numbers are not inflated.

You could be totally correct about LTH VNM's numbers. I'm not really all that familiar with his setup or what his top numers have been. I just knew that he was tuned at Strictly Performance and they tend to graph results in STD. Heck, most all of the shops that have dynoed my car have used STD.........

We did correct it and it came out to about 460whp, but that still isn't completely accurate. I'm not saying dynos are pointless, just that when you start arguing over 10-20hp differences at such high hp levels it's sort of retarded sounding. I guess it's a little different since there's so many ported Eatons putting down consistent numbers in a very tight bracket.

Yea...dyno numbers dont mean much to me. at the track is where it counts. I doubt this snake bite is going to make much more than any other port. gaining boost without changing pulleys however could be a good way to make 18-19 psi with upper only. I dont see it being worth $1500 though. But maybe we will all be suprized if they ever post numbers or track times.

I know for sure Strictly did the tuning, so it very well could be STD numbers. As far as I know, he has a stage 3 port, 3.1/6lb, accufab pl/tb, bbk lt's/ no cats, 60lbers, mafia, bap.

Na give him time. Everytime he's been due out with the latest and greatest it's taken a bit. I remember waiting for the Stg V and it was a few months behind schedule, but he makes sure he gets it right before he starts telling people to hand him money.

When I got my blower back from him from the Stg V, my buddies and I inspected the hell out of his stg V port... not to scrutinize his work, but in awe.. haha. Not that we were pro machinists or anything, but he knows his shit. I posted some pics of his portjob somewhere on here when I got my blower/tb/plenum back from him and it was cleeeeeean :)
