No need to PM $10,500. Miles mean nothing to me, this car is just as clean and the paint is better than most cars with 20K or less.

Damn man, this is one clean car. In the video it didn't even appear to be smoking too bad. and you are right, what blown stock motor mustang doesnt create a little blow by?

I totally understand if you dont want any shop in your town to look at the car if you don't trust them too and how many times do you have to tell these people that you are time sensitive and busy???. After looking at all the pics and what not $10,500 is a steal and hopefully a 98 cobra this clean is still available if and when i decide to get rid of my 04 cobra coupe.

Come on people don't be scared, don't even know the seller but just by reading his posts he obviously has nothing to hide. He could've said "no this car don't smoke"
and you get f***ed like it seems 94venomv8 did.

I honestly wish i was in the market right now but the time isn't right for me. This car is clean and it'd be cool to drive it back to Texas. It'd probably make it with my foot in it the whole time.

Thanks man, the car is my favorite Cobra I have ever had so far. I just need to step out of the game for a little bit and then get back into one. Honestly if the car was for sale when I was going to get back into cars I would buy this one right away as long as it was still as clean.

At least somebody understands lol.

I am not hiding one single thing, if I was why would I say it in the first paragraph of the post?

How badly is the smoking. Can you post up a video?

Its not bad at all, honestly if I didn't say something you wouldn't know. The only time you will ever see any is at WOT under full boost.

Heres a video of the car spinning like crazy at WOT and shifting the car like a grandma.

It's a clean car but have you looked at what these cars are selling for? A buddy just bought a 98 with 60K miles and a Hellion 76mm turbo kit for $11K and it didn't smoke.

For 500 less you can buy mine. And I will put mine against ANY 98 out there and will prove mine is cleaner.

drop your price, or fix the smoking. that is what turns away a lot of buyers

The smoking is no biggie, as it gives the buyer an opportunity to buy a forged short block. The issue is price, can you believe the market right now? There are some great cars out there for under 10k.

Honestly I could tell all of you that it doesn't have any blow by anymore and none of you would ever know after driving or seeing the car run for yourselves. BUT I am honest and everybody freaks out about it, I would bet 90% of the cars on this site have blow by and they dont even know it lol.

Why do you think all these blown Mustangs have catch cans?

You may be able to find a decent car under 10G out there right now but I know it wouldn't be as nice as this car. Paint is beautiful, interior is perfect, and the car runs great. It actually never "smokes" it has blow by at wide open throttle which nobody seems to understand.

If I were to put a motor in the car it wouldnt be for another year or two because why throw away a perfectly running motor? And yes I would drive it right up until then. I will take anybody for a ride, and let them drive it themselves, if they arent impressed then they wouldn't be impressed with any other car set up just like this.

I think alot of you guys on here dont realize how much more money it costs to fix body stuff and paint... I had my 96 Cobra repainted to the tune of $6500.00 because I am that much of a perfectionist.

I agree with what your saying and you are entitled to sell for what you need but there is a built 96 that has the same miles as yours and has a T56, sean hyland motor, etc. and he only wants 11,500 OBO, I realize your car is a very very nice car and looks immaculate but these cars do cost alot to rebuild and it still does have the stock trans that isnt made for the power your putting through it. I am not bashing your car as I prob would of bought it if you would of came down. It is just that no one is gonna spend that money even for a nice looking car if it has any kind of problem because it is a buyers market right now.

Honesty is good. I wouldn't be worried about the smoke too much to be honest. Its really nothing to freak out about based on that video between the tires spinning and all that "smoke" :poke: haha.

blow by at wot on a blown stock motor ? with just over 70k original miles? not bad at all. doesn't mean its going to let go any time soon. may last a long time, may not, its used.

Exactly, I feel like everybody wants to take advantage of everybody. I have never sold junk on here and wouldn't have bought the car the way it is if I was concerned with anything about it.
