I finally got a chance to put the car on the dyno and I was a little disapointed!
MODS
CAI
70MM TB/ 70mm TB plenum with spacer
UD pulleys
Meizer electric water pump
home ported heads
OR x-pipe with dynomax bullets and dumps.
Ram clutch
3.73's
Home made dry kit ( 80 shot )

On motor the car put down 253whp 286wtq. I thought these #'s would be a little higher. It was 72 degrees with 54% humidity on that run and the A/F 11.4. Chris said he probably could squeeze another 15-20whp at max with a tune.
On the 80 (40 jet) It put down 332.8whp 465.33wtq. I couldn't believe that it put out 160 more ftlbs on a 80. I asked chris was this a glitch in the computer and he said no. It was 73 degrees with 51% humidity with a 12.6 A/F. I was happy with the torque but a little disapointed in the HP#'s.
Have you ever had a shot put out double the amount of torque like that?

I made around 430 rwhp and 620 tq on a 150shot with cams/longtubes stock shortblock and trans. The nitrous makes huge torque. You def. need a bigger shot, throw in a 100 and don't go past 150. I went 11.20's @ 120mph with that setup

those numbers are on par NA....as for the tq jump on the bottle, while it is typical for you to gain more tq i wouldnt expect THAT much. cars strong...

Yea the car feels srong. Wen to the track the other day to get some times and blew up 3rd and 4th gear!!!

those numbers are way off of par. my car put down 270hp on the motor with ud pulleys, catback, off road x, and a tune. i have seen several other cars with about he same mods as mine put down anywhere from 250 to 265. how many miles on the motor?

ah... last i checked dyno jet is the most accurate dyno out there...

how is that. everything you will read and see in person is that the dyno jet reads higher. they use corrected sae numbers to give you a higher hp. the mustang puts a realistic load on the car to simulate real world driving. and if you are correct i guess my bolt on 2v would be over 300 hp. lol

Why would u be dissapointed? You started with a car that probably makes 220-230rwhp stock and now has over 100rwhp more

ok well i would like to see your numbers on a dynojet cause my buddies bolt on GT made 270rwhp 310rwtq and that is with every bolt on you can do and on a dynojet but all dyno range in the numbers they produce

4.6pimp I'll be running the g/f's car again at the track May 1st. You should come out and we can line them up then. I know you have been wanting a chance to run her car.

I would love to, but I work Friday, saturday, and sunday 5am to 5:30 pm. Plus when I went to the track two weeks ago I killed the syncro's in 3rd and 4th. So i'm riding around with 1st 2nd and 5th. Oh by the way congrats on the #'s the mach put down.
